Densely woven or coated cloth that shuts out daylight.

Blackout fabric is made to stop light passing through, which makes it ideal for bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms. As well as darkening a room, it helps insulate against heat and cold and dampens outside noise. It is available as a standalone drape or as a lining behind a decorative face fabric.
